CALL TO ACTION (8/7):

The legislature adjourned one hour before Judge Fox ruled to invalidate Act 1002 on Friday. (Do you really believe this wasn’t orchestrated? Asa essentially admitted in his press conference that a judicial solution was his backup plan in the event he couldn’t twist the legislators’ arms.)

Here is what we need to do now:

1.) Call the Attorney General’s office on Monday (501-682-2007). You can also call or write Leslie’s assistant, Jaime Land, at 501-682-2627; email: jaime.land@arkansasag.gov. Demand that the AG’s office immediately seek an emergency appeal of Judge Fox’s ruling to the Arkansas Supreme Court.

2.) Call and email these three state senators: Alan Clark, Trent Garner, and Bob Ballinger. These three had suggested real reforms that would have protected our medical privacy (including your right to work), allowed for true school choice, and eliminated the horrific teachings of Critical Race Theory in our schools. Tell them you support and appreciate their efforts. Encourage them to keep fighting for us.

3.) Call and email the state senators listed below to express your disgust and dismay with their sell-out vote. They voted to adjourn the session without hearing the proposed freedom legislation, effectively leaving Arkansans to deal with vaccine and mask mandates. These senators are directly to blame for our tremendous loss on Friday.

Note that Irvin, Flowers, Tucker, and Wallace were absent.

  1. 1.) Done! Emailed her assistant.
2.) Done! Emailed kudos and my thanks to all three! But separate emails.
3.) Done! Emailed ALL of them titled Unhappy Arkansan! separately.
I just want to say, THANK YOU to all of YOU in Reopen Arkansas! We CAN do this together!!!!!!!!

  2. Flowers and Wallace were gone all week.
Tucker wouldn’t have voted for it but Irvi. Seems to have possibly pulled a TX avoidance maneuver.
