CALL TO ACTION (8/7):

The legislature adjourned one hour before Judge Fox ruled to invalidate Act 1002 on Friday. (Do you really believe this wasn’t orchestrated? Asa essentially admitted in his press conference that a judicial solution was his backup plan in the event he couldn’t twist the legislators’ arms.)

Here is what we need to do now:

1.) Call the Attorney General’s office on Monday (501-682-2007). You can also call or write Leslie’s assistant, Jaime Land, at 501-682-2627; email: jaime.land@arkansasag.gov. Demand that the AG’s office immediately seek an emergency appeal of Judge Fox’s ruling to the Arkansas Supreme Court.

2.) Call and email these three state senators: Alan Clark, Trent Garner, and Bob Ballinger. These three had suggested real reforms that would have protected our medical privacy (including your right to work), allowed for true school choice, and eliminated the horrific teachings of Critical Race Theory in our schools. Tell them you support and appreciate their efforts. Encourage them to keep fighting for us.

3.) Call and email the state senators listed below to express your disgust and dismay with their sell-out vote. They voted to adjourn the session without hearing the proposed freedom legislation, effectively leaving Arkansans to deal with vaccine and mask mandates. These senators are directly to blame for our tremendous loss on Friday.

Note that Irvin, Flowers, Tucker, and Wallace were absent.

Kangaroo Court Ruling

In a hastily called session, liberal Pulaski County Judge Tim Fox ruled today that Act 1002 cannot be enforced. Fox promised to get a written order out today. He claims that Act 1002 violates equal protection because private schools could still issue a mask mandate, while public schools could not. Fox did urge the Arkansas Supreme Court to take up the case, as he seemed interested in getting the case moved out of his court.

The effect of this is that the governor, any mayor, county judge, or school district can issue a mask mandate as early as this afternoon. The legislature has once again been overridden. We believe this was all a setup, as the legislature hastily adjourned this morning without hearing the freedom legislation that was promised. The RINOs joined with the Democrats to prevent the special session from continuing. We will make a separate post with the names of the turncoats.

Legislative Update (8/5):

Both Mayberry bills failed today, which would normally be considered a win; however, the LR and Marion School Districts and several individuals have filed suits in woke Pulaski County in an attempt to get Act 1002 struck down. An injunction is VERY LIKELY to be granted by liberal Judge Tim Fox in tomorrow morning’s hearing. That means public schools will start school with mask mandates, regardless of the legislature. LR Mayor Frank Scott Jr. aka ‘his Wokeness,’ issued a city mask mandate today, saying that he didn’t believe Act 1002 was constitutional. Now we know why. We believe this was all orchestrated between Asa, Tom Mars, Frank Scott Jr., Walmart, Tyson, and the public school lobby. Like we’ve told you – Asa stays one step ahead of the legislature.

Here is what you need to do RIGHT NOW:

1.) Call, text, and email your state senator and state representative. Tell them to APPROVE SR4, extending the special session in order to deal with vaccine mandates and Critical Race Theory. Click the ‘Contact Lists’ tab for legislator contact info. https://reopenarkansas.org/contact-lists/

2.) Do NOT Comply with mask mandates. This nonsense will end when the people refuse. As long as you comply and mask up your kids, the tyranny will continue.

3.) Encourage your R legislators. With the exception of the RINO wing, they are trying to help. They need the session extended so they have more time to work through some freedom legislation.

Legislative update (8/4):

The legislature moved forward with committee votes to end enhanced unemployment benefits today.

After questions as to whether Asa could even find a sponsor for his forced-masking bill, Julie Mayberry presented it and brought both the superintendent of Marion Schools, as well as ACH lunatic doctor Heather Young, to speak in favor. The mood of the room and overwhelming mood of the speakers was against force-masking. Ultimately, the Mayberry bill was pulled in order to modify it in an attempt to make it palatable for more committee members. You can read the current version here:

Remember, the House health committee is one of the most left-leaning, so the bill could die in the Senate, which is more conservative. It is important that you remind your Republican state senator and state representative that we are watching their votes, and if they do not follow the will of their constituents, they will face a primary opponent. Julie Mayberry is a prime target. She is a very weak legislator and seems to only be in office in order to advocate for her own kids, whom she forces to mask. You can contact her at 501-888-3522 or julie.mayberry@arkansashouse.org.

We believe the session remains a diversion from the real issue – forced corporate vaccine mandates. We’ll have more on that in the coming days.

Special thanks to Representative Mary Bentley for being a strong advocate for free breathing and individual rights. She knocked it out of the park with her questions!
