Legislative Update (9/30):

After the Senate Public Health committee passed a batch of medical freedom bills yesterday, that progress was undone today when the full Senate voted 19-14 to send all medical freedom bills back to the Public Health committee. The scheme was led by Senator Missy Irvin, who was elected as a Tea Party conservative in 2010 but has morphed into a RINO in recent years. Irvin wanted to allow more time for Asa’s bureaucrats to testify against these important bills. This was the vote:

Note that Blake Johnson was fighting for the bills, but became frustrated and left the room prior to the vote. Senator Hammer supports the bills but appeared coerced into sending back to committee.

Feel free to express your frustration with the senators who voted YES to reconsider the medical freedom bills. Tell Senator Irvin to quit playing games with our lives and livelihoods and to vote FOR the medical freedom bills: 870-269-2703.

The Senate Health committee will almost certainly pass the bills AGAIN, as Senator Bledsoe predicted on the floor today. The committee meets at 8:30 Friday morning.

Chair Senator Cecile Bledsoe; Vice-Chair Senator Scott Flippo; Senator Breanne Davis; Senator Ben Gilmore; Senator Kim Hammer; Senator Bart Hester; Senator Dan Sullivan; Senator David Wallace

The House Health committee (stacked with RINOs) will meet at 8AM. Johnny Rye has a horrible bill (HB 1974) on the agenda allowing the governor to issue an executive order requiring masks in public schools.

UPDATE: Because of our efforts, Rye has agreed to pull the bill! Continue letting the members of House Health know that you expect them to vote FOR all medical freedom legislation.

Tell Representative Rye that you are AGAINST ALL mask mandates, regardless of positivity rate – they are an infringement on our right to breathe freely: 870-919-3690.

Also, the House state agencies committee approved a congressional map proposed by Rep. Nelda Speaks. This appeared to us to be one of the better proposals.

  1. Keep contacting YOUR representatives also – we’ve focused on the senate, but house rinos could kill all the efforts.

  2. Johnny Rye’s mailbox is full but he called me back. He said he pulled the mask bill tonight! Also Just FYI I did a little research and looked up some numbers of children that have died from Covid. In 2020 Only 172 children died from Covid. In that same time period 5228 children died from choking. In 2021 so far 430 children have died from Covid and over 4500 have died from choking! Covid is a nominal risk for children!

  3. I emailed health committee and texted Rye and Irving. Trying to share all info with friends !

Will text Teague but he’s a lost cause

  4. Fantastic job with Johnny Rye! He seems to be pretty easily led by people like assa, but is also very concerned ab out his situation back home.

  5. Can the spreadsheet above be emailed out so we can save it in Excel? It’s sort of unhandy to use and view the way it is now.
    email to me?

    Thanks
