To the Editor:

In the statewide May 24 gubernatorial primary, the superior candidate is Republican Doc Washburn, a staunch advocate of limited government, bodily autonomy, and medical freedom.

Washburn’s opponent is Sarah Huckabee Sanders, an impressive name to be sure, but also a figure apparently at peace with medical tyranny. Sanders has endorsed U.S. Representative French Hill, who in November 2021 voted for H.R. 550, which would, if approved by the Senate, allocate $400,000,000 for the creation of a national database intended to track the covid injection history of every American.

Sponsored and written by a Democrat, this legislation was intended to capture information on covid injections, exactly who had received them, and on what date. Conversely, it could also identify those who had not taken the injections. The sponsor of the legislation has stated the database would monitor individual Americans, send notifications for additional injections, and provide verification of injection status to so-called vaccine passport systems. French Hill thinks this is lovely, and apparently Sarah Sanders does, too.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Doc Washburn differs. Washburn vehemently opposes the creation of any such system, rejecting all covid mandates, forced injections, and vaccine passport systems. What is more, Washburn has put his money where his mouth is. Washburn stood his ground when his former employer, a major U.S. broadcasting company, mandated the covid injection. Washburn refused and was terminated, rather than risk an experimental gene alteration treatment.

Arkansas voters know what to do: Vote Doc Washburn for Governor of Arkansas.
